Privacy Policy
Deep Ledger is currently in testing and accessible by invitation only. During this phase, we collect only what is necessary to operate the platform and keep it secure.
We do not run tracking-based marketing and we do not sell personal data. There are no fiat/card payments in the beta; optional QVT staking may be available.
This Privacy Policy explains how the data controller ("Deep Ledger Beta Team") processes personal data when you use the service available on deepboyz.com.
1. Controller and contacts
Deep Ledger Beta Team
Privacy email: privacy@deepboyz.com
Support: support@deepboyz.com
2. Data we process (minimum)
During the Private Beta, we process only the categories of personal data necessary to provide and protect the service:
- Account data: email, password hash, and account security settings.
- Technical data and security logs: IP address, user agent, timestamps, access events, and anti-abuse signals.
-
Storage data
(as stated by the service):
- Files: stored encrypted at rest.
- Metadata: stored encrypted at rest.
- Support data (only if you contact us): the content of your request and technical information needed to resolve it.
3. Purposes and legal bases
3.1 Providing the service (Private Beta)
- account creation and management, login, uploads/downloads, settings.
- Legal basis: performance of the service (including beta access) and pre-contractual measures.
3.2 Security, abuse prevention, and stability
- detecting anomalies, protecting accounts, and preventing unauthorized access.
- Legal basis: legitimate interests in maintaining security and service continuity.
3.3 Support
- responding to requests and reports submitted by users.
- Legal basis: performance of the service and/or legitimate interests.
3.4 No tracking-based marketing
- in the Private Beta we do not use third-party tracking or profiling cookies.
4. Security, encryption, and seed phrase
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. Files and metadata are stored encrypted at rest.
Seed phrase / wallet unlock
- Your seed phrase is never stored in any database, filesystem, or logs.
- It is used only to unlock the vault/wallet and handled ephemerally (in memory/session) for the time strictly necessary for the feature to work.
5. QVT staking and blockchain
The service may include optional QVT staking features. These features may involve processing data linked to blockchain networks.
- Data that may be processed: wallet address, transaction identifiers (txid), amounts and timestamps, and technical staking states.
- Blockchain transparency: public blockchains may make such data viewable by anyone. We do not control the blockchain network and cannot modify or delete data once recorded on-chain.
- No fiat payments: during the Private Beta we do not process card/bank transfers; this feature concerns only crypto mechanisms provided by the service.
6. Retention
We retain personal data for the time necessary to achieve the purposes above and to keep the service secure:
- Account data: until you delete your account.
- Encrypted files and metadata: until you delete them and/or close your account.
- Security logs: up to 180 days, unless longer retention is needed to investigate abuse or to comply with legal obligations.
- Technical backups: up to 30 days (technical restore cycle), where applicable.
- Support records: up to 12 months, unless needed for abuse handling or legal requests.
7. Recipients, EU hosting, and transfers
Your data may be processed by authorized personnel and by technical providers strictly necessary to run the platform (e.g., hosting/infrastructure). We do not sell personal data.
Hosting: the Private Beta infrastructure is hosted in the European Union (EU).
During the Private Beta, we do not plan to transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If we later introduce non-EEA providers, this policy will be updated and the relevant safeguards (e.g., SCCs) will be described.
8. Your rights
You can exercise the rights provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability). For privacy requests, contact us at privacy@deepboyz.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
9. Cookies
We use technical cookies necessary for the service to function (e.g., session cookies). During the Private Beta, we do not use third-party tracking or profiling cookies.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves or to meet legal requirements. The “Last updated” date above will reflect any changes.
Private Beta: this policy is intentionally minimal. If/when the service becomes public or paid, we will update it with full details (complete controller info, vendor list, etc.).
